Rajith Weerarathne

Rajith Weerarathne Early Life Rajith Weerarathne is a young talented Song writer, Vocalist and a Music composer in Sri Lanka. He is from the hill capital Kandy. Rajith is a product of Dharmaraja College. He was born in November 1983. Since childhood he had a passion for singing and music. He was influenced by local artists like W.D. Amaradewa, Victor Rathnayake, Bhathiya n Santhush and International artists like Micheal Jackson, Bryan Adams and Ronan Keating. Music Life The music career started in 2006 when he joined with Tharaka and Pathum Wijesiri to form a band called EnforcE.

The first song written and composed was Sandawathiye. Due to studies Rajith had to temporally move away from singing career for a while. Meanwhile he wrote 8 more songs. Rajith restarted his music career in 2012 with the release of his first track Adare Iganwu which was written by him. He joined with Sheaam Deen at QUBE Studio. Rajith did his second track Heena Maruthe with rap artist Shamal Jay. His focus is to release all the songs he has written so far and make his way towards his debut album. Songs Released 01. He holds a Honors Degree in Information Technology @ University of Kelaniya and a Masters in Computer Science @ University of Colombo. Current City: Colombo, Srilanka
